Woolbright believes strongly in the value of our communities. We make Florida's neighborhoods better places by building and renovating shopping centers into places where family and friends can come together in a fun, open environment. We also contribute financially and through volunteer hours to a wide variety of local programs, such as arts and culture events, children's causes, and fundraising efforts.

Community Involvement
Ongoing - Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse (AVDA)
Woolbright's executive vice president Soraya Tyriver and executive assistant Beth Neese serve on the board of directors of AVDA, a Certified Domestic Violence Center that works to end violence and domestic abuse.  Woolbright sponsored AVDA's first ever Heart of a Woman Luncheon and donated an unprecedented $20,000 to the organization’s 5K Run/Walk.
Ongoing - George Snow Scholarship Fund
Woolbright contributes to this fund in order to help deserving Palm Beach county students continue their education.
Ongoing - Green Market
Abacoa Town Center hosts a weekly Green Market featuring hand-selected local vendors and live music.
Ongoing - Junior League of Boca Raton
Woolbright raised funds for the Junior League of Boca Raton through a pumpkin sale complete with hay, scarecrows and face painting at the Shops at Boca Grove in Boca Raton. In addition, Duane Stiller was nominated for the 2007 “Men with Caring Hearts” volunteer award for his dedication to the Junior League of Boca Raton and the community. Continuing its commitment to the Junior League of Boca Raton, Woolbright recently donated $10,000 to support the mission of the Junior League and its local projects, recognizing the dedication and passion of the members.
Ongoing - Kids In Distress
The associates at Woolbright purchased nearly 200 holiday gifts that were donated to children in need at Kids In Distress of Broward and Palm Beach counties. In addition, the company made a corporate contribution of $10,000.
2008 - P.A.L.
September 2008 - Platinum Sponsor for Palm Beach County Police Athletic League (P.A.L.) - PAL is a youth crime prevention program that relies on educational, athletic and other recreational activities to cement a bond and create trust and understanding between police officers and youth.
2007 to 2009 - Festival of the Arts Boca
Woolbright’s three-year commitment as sponsor of Festival of the Arts Boca, a groundbreaking cultural and community event in Mizner Park, continues through 2009. A portion of the Festival proceeds is donated to educational programming initiatives.
2007 and 2008 - Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse (AVDA)
Woolbright Development has, once again, sponsored the annual 5k Run/Walk benefiting Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse (AVDA). In 2007, the run/walk attracted more than 500 participants and raised a record $70,000 for AVDA’s domestic abuse programs and outreach to survivors.

Soraya Tyriver and Beth Neese are both on the board of directors for Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse (AVDA). AVDA is a Certified Domestic Violence Center that serves to promote violence-free relationships and social change by offering alternative choices to end violence and domestic abuse.
2008 - Allianz Golf Championship
As part of Woolbright’s sponsorship of the Allianz Golf Championship, the company hosted the Woolbright Wellness Tent, where tests and screenings were done for free, and a Wellness Challenge, where participants played an interactive game of “golf” which highlighted programs and services of Boca Raton Community Hospital.
2008 - Artigras Fine Arts Festival
Abacoa Town Center hosted the 23rd annual Artigras Fine Arts Festival, which featured more than 280 artists and is ranked one of the top 50 fine arts festivals in the country by Sunshine Artist magazine.
2008 - Cystic Fibrosis – Great Strides Walk
Woolbright joins a number of local celebrities in helping raise more than $100,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation during the annual Great Strides Walk in Boca Raton.
2008 - FunFest Alive
Live musical entertainment, a bounce house and face painting highlighted this charitable event where canned goods and paper products were collected at the Collection at Vanderbilt in Naples to benefit the Harry Chapin Food Bank.
2008 - ICSC Orlando
Gold Sponsor of the 4th Annual "Ladies in the Biz" networking reception held at ICSC Orlando 2008.
2008 - Presidential Debates at FAU
In an effort to advocate voting awareness among Florida residents, Woolbright was a corporate sponsor of the 2008 Presidential Debates at Florida Atlantic University.
2008 - Small Business Leader of the Year Luncheon
At this event, the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce bestows the Small Business Leader of the Year Award to someone who has made many business achievements and community contributions. Woolbright was proud to be a Premier Sponsor of the event.
2007 - Boca Raton Community Hospital
Duane Stiller, president of Woolbright, previously served on the Board of Boca Raton Community Hospital. Duane provided engineering and design expertise, as well as assistance with fundraising efforts.
Forgotten Soldiers Outreach
Woolbright donated to this cause which, among other things, sends care packages to soldiers.
Woolbright donated $20,000 to the Salvation Army’s Hurricane Katrina Relief Program
“The hurricanes had a devastating impact on the lives of many in South Florida, said Duane Stiller, our donation is part of our continued commitment to help our community wherever and whenever we can.”
