This prestigious award recognizes businesses for achievements based on revenue growth, job creation, commitment to employees and community involvement.

Congratulations to the Woolbright IT department! Woolbright received an honorary mention by the South Florida Business Journal at the announcement of their 2008 Technology of the Year Awards last week (we won this award in 2005). Of 19 applicants, we were one of only four non-tech companies, and the judges were so impressed by our application, we won an honorable mention. We're pleased that our steadfastness and dedication to providing innovative technology solutions has been continually noticed by the Journal, and this is a terrific honor for our talented IT team!

Out of more than 50 nominees, Real Estate Florida honored Woolbright with their 2008 Top Developer in Florida award. This honor covers 2007-08, as it included projects completed in both years.

Woolbright was nationally ranked 79th out of 100 owners of retail real estate. The rankings were based on total retail GLA owned and managed in the United States.

The women were judged on their professional experience, involvement in community organizations and professional associations, awards or recognition from industry groups and dollar volume of transactions.

Kari Olivier won top honors in the male-dominated real estate category of the South Florida Business Journal's Up and Comers Award.
The Up and Comers Award recognizes individuals under 40 who demonstrate outstanding leadership, work diligently to contribute to their company's growth and strive to improve the local community. There were seven finalists in the real estate category, which were the most finalists of any industry

The Boca Raton Beautification committee recognized Glades Plaza for its contribution to the beautification of the City of Boca Raton. The Boca Raton Beautification Committee awarded and recognized Glades Plaza for Landscape Excellence in the category of Large Commercial Property.

This honor highlights renovated and redeveloped projects nationwide completed within the calendar year.

Woolbright Development was awarded the prodigious title of Real Estate Deal of the Year in the category “Renovation/Rehab” for all South Florida. Woolbright was also named a finalist in the category “Retail”

The Perrine/Cutler Ridge Chamber of Commerce recognized South Dade Shopping Center’s renovations and awarded Woolbright with their Beautification Award.
