Woolbright Development Signs Leases
At Shopping Centers Throughout Florida
BOCA RATON, Fla. (November 9, 2009) – Woolbright Development announced it has recently added the following tenants to shopping centers throughout Florida:
Boca Raton
Goods Sounds, a custom home theater dealer, has leased 2,017 square feet and Harold’s Jeweler, a fine jewelry retailer has renewed its leases, at Glades Plaza in Boca Raton, Florida.
This 65,000 square foot shopping center is located on Glades Road, immediately adjacent to Town Center Mall in Boca Raton.
Mootz’s, Homemade Italian Ice, has leased 1,200 square feet at The Shops at Boca Grove in Boca Raton, Florida.
This two-story 77,000 square-foot shopping center is ideally located at the northwest corner of Boca Grove Boulevard and Powerline Road, amid some of the country’s most affluent golf course residential communities. Recently completed renovations to the center include the addition of bold signage and new facades.

Jupiter
Quinn Communications, a web designer for large and small businesses and organizations worldwide, has leased 1,821 square feet, at Abacoa Town Center in Jupiter, Florida.
This Mediterranean-style 91,400 square-foot open-air shopping center is located off Donald Ross Road next to the Scripps Research Complex. It features retailers and restaurants such as Starbucks, Style So Chic, Angry Moon Cigars, Rooney’s Public House, JJ Muggs, and Jumby Bay Island Grill. Bobby Albino, leasing Vice President with Woolbright Development, handled the transaction.
Lantana/Boynton Beach/Lake Worth
Edward Jones & Company, an investment brokerage and financial services company, has leased 1,010 square feet and Dr. Fara Bender, DMD, renewed her lease at Lantana Square in Lantana, Florida.
Lantana Square is a 152,000 square-foot shopping center located at the southwest corner of Jog Road and Lantana Road and is anchored by Wal-Mart Neighborhood Grocer and Walgreens. The center recently completed renovations that included fresh paint, new facades, tropical landscaping and a resealed parking lot. New Cingular Wireless, has renewed its lease at Pinewood Square in Lake Worth, Florida.
Pinewood Square is a 196,000 square-foot shopping center located on the southeast corner of Lantana Road and Jog Road, serving the Lake Worth and Greenacres communities. Anchored by T.J. Maxx/HomeGoods and Ross Dress for Less, this shopping center has just a few smaller retail spaces still available for lease. Jennifer McNeil, leasing agent with Woolbright Development, handled this transaction.
EDO Japanese Steakhouse and Hibachi Grill has leased 4,790 square feet, Sunbird Cruise and Travel Agency leased 875 square feet, Bentin Chiropractic and Wellness Center leased 1,702 square feet and Chomsky Therapy Services, a physical therapy office, leased 1,500 square feet at Shoppes at Woolbright in Boynton Beach, Florida.
Shoppes at Woolbright is a 160,000 square foot center located on the north west corner of Jog Road and Woolbright Road in Boynton Beach, Florida. The center is anchored by a brand new Publix and will feature a mix of national and local restaurants and retailers that will serve the communities of West Boynton and Delray. MIAMI/KENDALL
Amis Cigar Lounge , a cigar retailer and full service lounge , has leased 2,181 square feet at Intracoastal Mall in North Miami Beach, Florida.
This 250,000 square-foot shopping center is located at the northeast corner of Sunny Isles Blvd. and N.E. 35th Avenue. The shopping center features restaurant row offering four new waterfront dining experiences: Rack’s Italian Cuisine, Flamma Brazilian Steakhouse, Amis Continental Grill and The Water Club. Hue Chen, Sr. leasing associate with Woolbright Development, handled these transactions.
Men’s Designer Outlet, a menswear retailer, has leased 1,800 square feet, JEC Tax Services, an accounting and tax preparation office and Asthma and Allergy Associates, an asthma and allergy medical specialist leased 2,270 square feet at London Square in Miami, Florida.
London Square is a 450,000 square foot project anchored by T.J. Maxx/Homegoods and Ross Dress For Less, and shadow anchored by Costco. The center, located at the southeast corner of S.W. 120th Street and S.W. 137th Avenue, is conveniently located two miles south of Kendall Drive and will be the first regional shopping center to connect the Kendall market to the Country Walk market. Hue Chen, Sr. leasing associate with Woolbright Development, handled the transactions.
Cold Stone Creamery, a premium ice cream shop, has leased 1,379, and TRC Income Tax a tax preparation office, has leased 1,121 square feet at Miramar Square in Miramar, Florida.
This 240,000 square-foot shopping center, located at the southeast corner of Flamingo Road and Miramar Parkway, was completed in October 2008 and is now available for occupancy. The shopping center is anchored by Kohl’s and Staples. Anahi Quino, leasing associate with Woolbright Development along with Howard Lefkowitz, leasing Vice President, handled these transactions.
FORT LAUDERDALE
Panera Bread, a specialty bakery-café restaurant, leased 4,531 square feet and Lab Doctor, an upscale medical lab and health center, leased 876 square feet at Southport Shopping Center, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
This 145,000 square foot shopping center, is located on 17th Street Causeway east of US1, and just south of downtown Fort Lauderdale. The center recently completed renovations that included fresh paint, new facades, tropical landscaping and a resealed parking lot. The shopping center is anchored by Ross Dress for Less, Office Depot and Dollar Tree. Brahm Scoler, leasing Vice President with Woolbright Development, handled these transactions.
ORLANDO
A Take Out Chinese Restaurant has leased 1,313 square feet at Lake Mary Village in Lake Mary, Florida.
Lake Mary Village is a 100,000 square-foot shopping center centrally located at the high traffic, southeast corner of Lake Mary Boulevard and Greenwood Boulevard. Anchored by T.J. Maxx/HomeGoods, the shopping center just completed renovations to enhance the shopping experience for the center’s affluent customers. The makeover includes the addition of tropical landscaping, a bold color scheme, new signage under the covered walkway, fresh facades and improvements to parking. . Brian Hector, leasing associate with Woolbright Development, handled the transaction.
STUART
All About Health, a chiropractic office, has leased 860 square feet at Cove Center in Hobe Sound, Florida.
Cove Center is a 159,771 square-foot neighborhood center anchored by Publix, Bealls, and Ace Hardware. The center is located on S. Federal Highway and Cove Road in Stuart Florida. The center has completed a renovation which included the expansion of Bealls. Bobby Albino, leasing Vice President with Woolbright Development, handled this transaction.
TAMPA
World of Beer, a specialty retailer and lounge featuring more than 500 beers from around the world, has leased 2,855 square feet and the Law Offices of ML Pope has leased 1,500 square feet at Carrollwood Village Shoppes in Tampa, Florida.
Carrollwood Village Shoppes is a 71,000 square-foot center at the southwest corner of Dale Mabry Highway and Fletcher Avenue. The center recently completed an extreme makeover that included replacing the wood shingle and Spanish plaster façades with colorful stucco; adding brick, stone and crown moulding columns; rebuilding two bridges highlighted with stone and brick accents; and adding architectural elements such as two prominent towers. The center is anchored by Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, Side Splitters Comedy Club, Chili’s and SunTrust. Brahm Scoler, leasing Vice President with Woolbright Development, handled these transactions.
